General Practitioner GP OOH Service Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic GPs to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team supporting the GP Out of Hours Services (GP OOH) in Central Cheshire.
Main DutiesWe are seeking committed GPs to work on a sessional basis, interested in developing the service model. Our team works closely with partners and communities to deliver NHS services that are safe, caring, and effective.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing medical care to patients requiring urgent assessment, advice, treatment, or referral out of hours
- Working collaboratively with triage nurses, advanced community practitioners, technicians, call handlers, and a service management team
- Supporting ED with managing primary care presentations across the out-of-hours period to enhance patient experience and reduce ED attendances

Essential qualifications include:
- Full GMC Registration & LTP
- MBChB or equivalent certificate
- Hold a JCPTGP Certificate or equivalent experience
