Are you a qualified Pharmacy Technician or a Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician nearing registration? We are on the lookout for dedicated and enthusiastic pharmacy technicians to join our Trust pharmacy team. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional service to patients and colleagues alike.

Main Responsibilities
You will work in close partnership with other members of our multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that patients have access to the latest advancements in oncology and haematology medications. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing pharmacy technician clinical pharmacy services on designated wards.
- Collaborating within our innovative clinical pharmacy team to ensure a high-quality, patient-centered clinical pharmacy and medication supply service for oncology patients.
- Supporting the satellite dispensary as needed, including dispensing and accuracy checking of medications.
- Facilitating medication requirements for chemotherapy patients.
- Managing controlled drug returns and monitoring pharmacy resuscitation boxes.
- Assisting within the Homecare service.
You will be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, along with a genuine interest in patient-focused services and continuous improvement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Participating in pharmacy technician-based clinical pharmacy services on designated wards.
- Contributing to service delivery within day case units.
- Conducting comprehensive medication assessments for patients upon admission.
- Engaging in discharge planning processes and liaising with healthcare professionals.
- Counseling patients and their caregivers on medication use and side effects.
- Maintaining optimal stock levels of medications across ward areas.
- Participating in training and supervision of pharmacy assistants and other staff.
- Contributing to clinical audits and practice research as required.
