About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our mobile experiences team at Via Transportation, Inc. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for leading the design process for significant product areas from concept to implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design process for significant product areas, understanding technical constraints and spotting opportunities.
  • Perform user research and usability test sessions, translating insights into design decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in digital product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in leading design projects from concept to launch.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating design decisions and rationale clearly.
  • Craftsmanship and a high bar for quality in work.
  • Experience in motion and interaction design (advantage).
