Job Title: Senior Commercial Marketing Officer

Join Sourcing Industry Group (SIG) as we seek a highly skilled Senior Commercial Marketing Officer to lead our global marketing procurement strategy. This is a newly created role that requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and management skills.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual to create and oversee our global marketing procurement strategy, working closely with our marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing long-term strategies, leading agency pitches and evaluations, negotiating contract terms, and building strong agency relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global marketing procurement strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Lead agency pitches and evaluations, negotiating contract terms and ensuring compliance with our procurement policy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our marketing team and external partners.
  • Develop and implement performance-based remuneration models with our marketing operations team.
  • Lead cost benchmarking and cost conversation in partnership with our marketing operations team.
  • Represent the procurement function in agency management, supporting our marketing function.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in procurement and/or agency management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire internal marketing stakeholders and agency teams.
  • Independent thinker with strong communication skills, able to deliver findings in an engaging and impactful manner.
  • Knowledge of all marketing channels and agency landscape, with experience in global media and creative agencies preferred.
