Position Overview

JSS Search is excited to collaborate with a prestigious financial institution specializing in markets and commodities, seeking to enhance their regulatory policy division with a pivotal addition.

This role offers significant visibility and strategic influence within the organization. The regulatory policy team is recognized for its exceptional learning and development opportunities, providing a pathway for career advancement. The successful applicant will be expected to:

  • Evaluate forthcoming regulatory changes and manage internal communications regarding these updates.
  • Conduct thorough impact assessments of regulatory modifications relevant to the bank.
  • Foster relationships with senior stakeholders concerning regulatory developments.
  • Engage proactively with change management and contribute to regulatory transformation initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation of formal governance documents, including Pillar 3, ICAAP/ILAAP, and Recovery Plans.
  • Enhance collaboration between policy and regulatory documentation teams.
  • Perform scenario analyses related to the organization’s capital and liquidity positions, providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that regulatory policies and directives are clearly understood by the reporting teams.

The organization is particularly interested in candidates who possess:

  • An accounting qualification or are in the process of obtaining one.
  • Experience or exposure in regulatory reporting.
  • A keen interest in UK/EU Prudential regulations, particularly concerning Basel 3.1 and CRR/CRD.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
