Our client, a prominent trade association within the financial sector, is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager to join their team with flexible working arrangements.

Candidates with substantial experience in policy development within financial services, banking, lending, mortgages, savings, governmental bodies, conduct risk, FCA, vulnerability, trade associations, professional organizations, regulatory agencies, or membership organizations are encouraged to consider this opportunity.


Key Responsibilities of the Regulatory Affairs Manager

- Advocate for the perspectives of association members to external entities and stakeholders, fostering a supportive operational landscape for members.

- Assist the Head of Legal, Conduct Risk, and Financial Crime as required.

- Address inquiries from members and proactively seek opportunities for policy advancement within the association.

- Articulate member interests through written communications, including responses to consultation documents, briefings for government officials, and correspondence.

- Prepare guidance materials such as website briefs, newsletters, and circulars.

- Analyze policy matters and formulate positions backed by evidence.

- Take primary responsibility for specific areas of policy initiatives.

- Oversee conduct risk management and compliance with FCA Handbook stipulations.

- Address issues related to financial crime.
