We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Ground Control. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end projects, from planning to completion, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest possible standard.
Key Responsibilities- Survey and assess trees and vegetation around power lines to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Liaise with landowners and stakeholders to gain consent and support for projects, communicating the benefits and importance of the work.
- Manage and coordinate field teams to ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that projects are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Proven experience in managing or supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- NPTC Utility Arboriculture Units 1, 2.1, 5.1, and 5.2, or a willingness to work towards obtaining these qualifications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Experience in team leadership or coordination, with a proven track record of success.
