International Policy and Project Support Officer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to provide policy and project support for the new ASEAN programme. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to support the design, scoping, and delivery of the programme.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake research into specific policy issues and coordinate UK and overseas events relating to the programme.
- Monitor policy developments across the HMG overseas network and cascade to the wider team.
- Support the set-up and running of the Programme Management Office, including developing project plans and other project documentation, and maintaining dashboards and reporting mechanisms.
- Support the development of the Monitoring, Reporting, Evaluation, and Learning (MREL) framework.
- Act as the Risk Coordinator for the team.
We are looking for an individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work independently and successfully deliver against competing priorities within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on cross-cutting and complex projects/programmes, strong organisation and prioritisation skills, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify creative solutions that deliver impact.
BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a salary of £32,858, plus an employer contribution to the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme. The role also offers learning and development opportunities, flexible working options, and a culture encouraging inclusion and diversity.
