About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions that meet cost, time, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation of designs using SolidWorks software
  • Collaborate with the team to conduct classical engineering analysis on designs, including stress, fatigue, and vibration assessments using traditional methods and computer simulations
  • Conduct laboratory testing to verify and validate design outputs against design inputs
  • Lead the development of engineering reports to support new product designs, failure investigations, and other formal documentation required to meet customer needs
  • Work with broader engineering teams to incorporate electronic, control, and drive systems into equipment designs
  • Provide support to production, testing, and field engineering teams, and assist sales teams with bids and quotations
  • Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to estimate design activity timelines and keep stakeholders updated on progress
  • Take charge of ensuring the timely delivery of outputs within established deadlines
