Job Overview

Refrigeration Engineer - Field Based - £43,000 - £45,000

This is a field-based role covering a wide geographic area and a fantastic opportunity to join a leading provider of refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Performing refrigeration, reactive, and proactive work in accordance with our client's Standard Operating Procedures and Key Performance Indicators.
  2. Collecting and installing parts as directed by the Senior Managing Engineer.
  3. Diagnosing and resolving equipment breakdowns.
  4. Carrying out calls as allocated by Service Control.
  5. Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely manner.
  6. Working safely in accordance with health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Experience working on refrigeration and alarm systems, air conditioning, and building controls, food factory equipment, general equipment, electrical, and fabric repairs.
  2. A 'F-GAS 2079 Refrigeration Handling' qualification.
  3. CO2 experience.
  4. Basic HVAC experience desirable.
  5. An excellent attitude and approach to work.
  6. Highly self-reliant, motivated, and enthusiastic.
  7. Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills.
  8. Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
