Job Title: Talent Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Manager to join our team at A&L Goodbody LLP. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in shaping our talent strategy and driving business success.

About the Role

The Talent Manager will be responsible for leading the talent function in our Belfast office, collaborating with the partnership and Talent Director to develop and implement a comprehensive talent strategy. This will involve representing the firm at a strategic level, driving recruitment and retention initiatives, and championing diversity, equality, and inclusion values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a talent strategy that aligns with the firm's business objectives
  • Lead the recruitment process, including early careers recruitment and key lateral hires
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Champion diversity, equality, and inclusion values and practices
  • Manage key external partnerships and collaborations
  • Provide strategic HR advice to the partnership and management team
Requirements
  • CIPD qualified
  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment
  • Broad knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, pay and reward, and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of NI employment laws and regulations
  • Evidenced experience of building strong collaborative relationships with multiple parties
  • Demonstrable evidence of shaping HR strategy for business success
  • Effective leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
