Job Summary

Carriera is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to join our team in the property department of a family office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing residential and rural portfolios, with excellent knowledge of building surveying principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the enhancement and maintenance of a residential and rural portfolio
  • Collaborate with a well-established team of building surveyors, architects, interior designers, engineers, trades, and support staff
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize portfolio performance
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards
  • Provide expert advice on building surveying matters to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Chartered Building Surveyor qualification
  • Proven experience in managing residential and rural portfolios
  • Excellent knowledge of building surveying principles and practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
