Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist - Antimicrobial Stewardship Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing antimicrobial stewardship across the Trust, supporting Root Cause Analysis and Multi-Disciplinary Teams reviews, and contributing to the delivery of the Trust's Medicines Optimisation Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide antimicrobial stewardship across the Trust, including supporting Root Cause Analysis and Multi-Disciplinary Teams reviews
  • Contribute to the delivery of the Trust's Medicines Optimisation Strategy
  • Manage (planning, organising, monitoring, controlling, developing staff etc) pharmacy staff and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Train of pharmacy staff and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Service development including Quality Improvement projects, preparation of guidelines, CQUINS
  • Other duties/functions
Requirements
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Experience of working in a clinical pharmacy setting
  • Knowledge of antimicrobial stewardship and medicines optimisation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
