About the Role

As a Housekeeping Assistant (Public Area), you will play a key part in providing an exceptional welcome to our Guests and ensuring they have a pleasant stay. On a day-to-day basis, you will primarily clean public areas of the hotel including reception, meeting rooms, stairs, and corridors. Toilets and restaurant. On occasion, when needed, you may be required to clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms and ensure linen is laundered and amenities are replenished, Complying fully with all regulations relating to Health & Safety, Food Handling, Fire Procedures, and COSHH.

Based in the Holiday Inn Southend, you will be part of a family of passionate people who know that being the best doesn't always mean working around the clock. Located next to London Southend Airport, Holiday Inn Southend boasts 129 modern bedrooms, conference & events facilities, and '1935' our Rooftop restaurant and bar.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards. You will enjoy work at a fast pace and be able to meet required high standards within the allocated time. You will need to be available to work on weekends as well as during the week, and have the flexibility to work a mix of the early shift starting at 6am, the middle shift starting at 8am, or the late shift starting at 12pm when needed.
