Job Description

At Capula, we're committed to delivering exceptional results through innovative solutions. As a key member of our Production team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality control panel solutions for national infrastructure projects.

The Production Scheduler will be responsible for planning and coordinating the manufacturing and test requirements for our projects, ensuring timely delivery to our customers. This involves collaborating closely with various departments to identify and plan project milestones, resource allocation, and production capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update the production schedule regularly to ensure resource availability and production capacity
  • Maintain the electronic production status page, providing visibility of project progress to the wider business
  • Conduct regular meetings with project managers and support teams to review progress and assess required availability of parts delivery
  • Work with the Stores team to monitor and maintain consignment stock levels in line with production demand
  • Compile and record necessary data for management monthly reports
  • Archive project build data to facilitate learning from experience

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with advanced skills in conditional formatting, VLOOKUP, IF statements, and pivot tables
  • Proactive and reactive approach to planning, scheduling, and issue management
  • Flexible approach to adapt to changing requirements at short notice
  • Production planning experience (1 year preferred)
