Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Luton

Join a dedicated organization focused on providing a nurturing environment for young individuals facing emotional and behavioral challenges. We are seeking a committed Registered Manager to enhance our team in Luton, with prior experience in working with children experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties.

This role involves overseeing a 4-bed residential provision that caters to children and young people. As a Registered Manager, you will be expected to go above and beyond to ensure that the children have a fulfilling childhood experience that they can cherish into adulthood.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operations of the residential home in compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and the home's Statement of Purpose.
  • Develop a strategic plan to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based practices.
  • Support staff in achieving exceptional care standards for the children.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of the needs of the children and prepare tailored placement plans for optimal service delivery.
  • Oversee casework and administrative functions, evaluating performance standards.
  • Contribute to a comprehensive training and development program for staff to ensure all necessary skills are available to meet the children's needs.
  • All candidates will undergo Safer Recruitment and DBS checks.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Registered Manager in a children's home.
  • In-depth understanding of the regulations and legislation governing children's homes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification).
  • Full UK Driving License.
