Job Title: Senior Emergency Officer

The Tree Council is a national charity dedicated to promoting the importance of trees and hedgerows. We are seeking a Senior Emergency Officer to join our team and contribute to our mission.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our emergency response efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating our response to environmental emergencies, working closely with our partners and stakeholders to ensure effective and timely action.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement emergency response plans to address environmental crises, such as tree diseases and pests.
  2. Collaborate with our partners, including corporate supporters, volunteer Tree Council Tree Wardens, schools, and community groups, to deliver effective emergency response efforts.
  3. Build strong relationships with planting sites and partners to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in a related field, including emergency response and environmental conservation.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • A passion for environmental conservation and community engagement.
