We are currently in search of a detail-oriented CAD Technician / AutoCAD Designer to enhance our team at our offices in Stone, Staffordshire. If you have a passion for CAD design and are keen to contribute to impactful projects, this position is tailored for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and revise drawings utilizing AutoCAD, with a focus on P&IDs, electrical schematics, and general arrangement/as-built drawings.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers to develop and finalize red line drawings.
  • Maintain drawing management control and ensure all associated documentation meets the highest standards.
  • Utilize Autodesk Vault for efficient drawing management, ensuring organized workflows.
  • Assist the team in delivering accurate and comprehensive designs for innovative projects in the gas sector.
  • Contribute to engineering design improvements based on your expertise and experience.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as an AutoCAD designer.
  • Strong proficiency in P&IDs, electrical schematics, and general arrangement/as-built drawings.
  • Understanding of drawing management and control processes.
  • Engineering knowledge to identify opportunities for enhancing design quality.
  • Collaborative mindset, working alongside engineers to support production and operations while producing precise red line drawings.
  • Ability to engage with suppliers and customers to facilitate project delivery.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Autodesk Vault.
  • Familiarity with Microstation and Autodesk Inventor 3D.
