Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Excellence Manager to join our team at OPEX Selection (Lean Six Sigma Recruitment). As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving efficiencies and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) across multiple manufacturing lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive OEE Improvements: Introduce and embed company standards to enhance plant efficiency, drive OEE improvements across multiple manufacturing lines, and champion ManEx programs.
  • Lead Cost Reduction Initiatives: Develop and implement continuous operational cost reduction initiatives to boost the plant's competitiveness.
  • Coach and Train Colleagues: Provide coaching and training to colleagues, developing technical training packages to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to Sustainability Targets: Collaborate with the leadership team to contribute to the plant's ambitious green and sustainability targets, aligning with our client's commitment to environmental sustainability.
Requirements:
  • Strong Background in Lean Manufacturing: A strong background in lean manufacturing, particularly focused on OEE improvements, with experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality, or Process Engineering.
  • Autonomous Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance: Exposure to Autonomous Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance, with a proven track record of implementing and sustaining improvements.
  • Coaching and Influencing Skills: Strong coaching and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with a range of people and drive change.
