**To qualify for this role, candidates must possess an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care**
As the Care Home Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the comprehensive management of the care service, with performance evaluated through key indicators such as occupancy rates, financial stewardship, resident satisfaction, team engagement, recruitment efforts, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Creating and nurturing a positive workplace culture that promotes staff morale, well-being, and ongoing professional development.
- Providing strategic leadership in daily operations to guarantee high-quality service delivery to residents, assessed through established performance metrics.
- Exhibiting a transparent and inclusive leadership approach that aligns with the core values of the organization.
The following qualifications and experiences are preferred for this position:
- Prior experience as a Registered Manager in a care home setting for the elderly.
- Demonstrated management expertise at a comparable level.
- Experience in budget management and the formulation of financial proposals within a similar context.
- Familiarity with CQC regulations and local authority standards.
- Proven track record in marketing strategies and maintaining occupancy levels.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £74,000 per annum. This is a permanent, full-time position with a standard working schedule. In recognition of your dedication and efforts, you will enjoy a range of generous benefits:
