Intensive Care Consultant

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Locum Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine to join our team at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a short-medium term post that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to cover a critical role in our intensive care unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Postgraduate qualification in Intensive Care Medicine (ICM) and relevant experience in a district general hospital setting.
- Ability to teach clinical skills to medical and nursing staff, as well as other disciplines.
- Skills and experience in ICM, including paediatric resuscitation, and advanced specialist training in neuroscience intensive care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
- Commitment to Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development.
- Flexible and adaptive attitude, with a willingness to undertake additional professional responsibilities at a local level.
- Postgraduate ICM qualification and relevant experience.
- Teaching and training experience, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, colleagues, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Skills and experience in ICM, including paediatric resuscitation, and advanced specialist training in neuroscience intensive care.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
- Commitment to Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development.
