Job Title: English Teacher for Special Educational Needs

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Southwark

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced English teacher to join our team at a renowned SEN school in Southwark. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the English curriculum and be able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons to students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Plan and deliver English lessons that cater to the needs of students with SEN.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Comply with the school's policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching English to students with SEN.
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and understanding approach to teaching.
