Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the charity shop, including staff and volunteer management, stock management, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and engagement, including visual merchandising, marketing, and community outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our community partners, including local businesses, community groups, and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with our Community Recovery Team to provide support and services to individuals in need.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including sales, customer engagement, and volunteer participation.
  • Collaborate with our retail team to develop and implement new initiatives and programs to drive sales and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail management, including staff and volunteer management, stock management, and customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and community engagement.
  • Experience with visual merchandising, marketing, and community outreach, with a strong understanding of the charity retail sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor and report on key performance indicators.
