We are seeking an experienced and skilled Service Delivery Manager to lead our residential family assessment centre in Tooting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assessment and support services, ensuring a high standard of social work practice, and leading a team of staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Delivery: Take overall responsibility for the assessment and support services, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard and meet the needs of our clients.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are clear about their responsibilities and duties.
- Assessment and Support: Oversee specific assessments, including reading of court papers, planning and reviewing the assessment, and supporting staff to compile reports and give evidence at Court.
- Staff Development: Attend and support weekly staff meetings, facilitate and guide family work discussions and case analysis, and provide opportunities for staff development and growth.
About You:
- Qualifications: Qualified social worker with a strong understanding of social work practice and principles.
- Experience: Experience in supporting families where there have been issues of child abuse/neglect, and a proven track record of leading and managing a team.
- Skills: Highly effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to remain level-headed in a pressurised environment.
