Site Manager Opportunity in South Devon

We are working with a leading Construction and Civil Engineering Contractor based in the South West who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure delivery, with experience managing sub-contractors and overseeing Health & Safety and Technical Compliance requirements.

The role will involve managing infrastructure, sub-structure, drainage, and enabling works for a number of highway improvement schemes in South Devon. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary licenses and permits are in place, and that the project is delivered on time and within budget.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced Site Manager to take on a new challenge and make a real impact on the project. The contractor is looking for someone who is technically aware and has a strong understanding of infrastructure delivery.

The contract is expected to last for approximately 6-12 months, and the successful candidate will be working on a PAYE basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sub-contractors and oversee Health & Safety and Technical Compliance requirements
  • Ensure that all necessary licenses and permits are in place
  • Deliver the project on time and within budget
  • Work closely with the client to ensure that their needs are met

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure delivery
  • Experience managing sub-contractors and overseeing Health & Safety and Technical Compliance requirements
  • Technical awareness and understanding of infrastructure delivery
  • Ability to work on a contract basis
