Pharmacovigilance and Scientific Information Director

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Scientific Information (SI) professional to join our Scientific Affairs team at Pharmiweb. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of PV and SI strategies, processes, and platforms, ensuring that they align with both UK legislation and our global standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and implementation of PV and SI strategies, processes, and platforms
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, maintaining oversight of all UK PV cases, ensuring compliance, and leading the UK pharmacovigilance system master file (PSMF)
- Maintain and improve PV and SI processes, ensuring they are always audit-ready and compliant with GxP standards
- Collaborate closely with our Global Pharmacovigilance and Medical Affairs teams to ensure that local activities support and enhance global initiatives
Requirements:
- A life science degree or qualification as a Health Professional
- 5-10 years of experience in pharmacovigilance
- A thorough understanding of UK PV regulations, GvP, and industry best practices
