We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Operations Manager to join our team at Vitality. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will play a critical role in maturing our Cyber Security capabilities and protecting our data and that of our members.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of security analysts in implementing the Information Security Strategy and protecting Vitality's and its members' data.
- Monitor systems and alerts, and manage Cyber incidents, including conducting forensic investigations and engaging with internal stakeholders and external bodies as required.
- Conduct Cyber Security maturity assessments, continuous improvement of existing security controls, and assess new tools/capabilities for recommendation to management.
- Perform Cyber risk assessments, develop reporting metrics to articulate risk posture to Senior Management, and provide expert professional advice on Information and Cyber Security best practice.
- Ensure compliance with Vitality's ISMS, Regulatory requirements, and Information Security best practice frameworks.
- Extensive experience working in Cyber Security, with a strong understanding of security frameworks, Data Protection, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical knowledge to non-technical audiences.
- Appropriate level of technical knowledge, hands-on experience of configuring security tools, and demonstrable experience of designing, implementing, and managing information security initiatives.
- Experience of running and developing a team of technical specialists, ideally in the field of Cyber Security, with a sound understanding of coaching, mentoring, and supporting people at different stages of their career.
