Job Summary:

The Programme and Commercial Director will be responsible for leading the delivery of major programmes in the water sector, working closely with the Framework Director and Regional Programme Managers. This role requires a pragmatic individual with excellent leadership and commercial acumen, able to drive successful delivery and build high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of major programmes in the water sector, working closely with the Framework Director and Regional Programme Managers.
  • Develop and deliver framework commercial strategy, ensuring profitable delivery of programmes.
  • Build and mentor teams, driving collaborative behaviours and delivering successful outcomes at project and programme level.
  • Co-ordinate and facilitate teams to deliver successful outcomes through a balance of strategic and tactical approaches.
  • Liaise with and report to the internal framework board, clients, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading the delivery of major project/programmes in the water sector.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to deliver commercially complex framework programmes profitably.
  • Proven ability to build and mentor teams and drive collaborative behaviours.
  • Excellent inter-personal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Skilled in collaborative negotiation.
