Role Overview

Are you passionate about driving sales in the Industrial IoT sector? As a Sales Specialist for Industrial IoT, you will be an integral part of a leading sales team at a top-tier technology provider. Your primary focus will be on promoting our comprehensive Industrial IoT solutions within the UKI region.

Collaboration and Teamwork

In this role, you will collaborate with various teams, including Cisco account representatives, channel partners, and customers, to enhance Industrial IoT sales performance across the UKI. You will also engage with product management and industry solutions teams to shape strategies and achieve desired outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in managing intricate technology sales with executive-level engagement for strategic customers.
  • Proven ability to identify, cultivate, and finalize sales opportunities with both new and existing clients.
  • History of consistently achieving or surpassing sales quotas.
  • A solution-oriented sales approach focused on delivering customer business results through technology.
  • Capacity to grasp new technologies and effectively communicate their value in sales discussions.
  • Comfortable addressing large groups, including industry experts and thought leaders.
  • Experience in selling networking, security, cloud, and analytics solutions to operational technology stakeholders.
  • Proficient in applying opportunity qualification methodologies.
  • Cross-sector experience engaging with IT and OT stakeholders in Manufacturing, Energy, and Transportation industries.
  • Skilled in accurate sales forecasting, strategic planning, and conducting business reviews.
  • Experience in overlay sales roles, enhancing relationships with IT and OT stakeholders to focus on customer success.
  • Proven ability to sell through channel partners and system integrators.
  • Capable of remote and in-person selling, with a willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Industrial/OT sales with over five years of experience in industrial hardware and software.
  • Direct sales or account management experience at Cisco or similar organizations.
  • Strong understanding of the industrial networking and cybersecurity landscape.
