Role Overview

Are you passionate about driving sales in the Industrial IoT sector? As a Sales Specialist for Industrial IoT, you will be an integral part of Cisco's elite sales team, promoting cutting-edge end-to-end solutions tailored for our clients. Your primary focus will be on advancing our Industrial IoT offerings within the UKI region.

Collaboration and Teamwork

In your role as an Industrial IoT Solutions Sales Expert, you will spearhead the sales initiatives by collaborating closely with Cisco account teams, channel partners, and end-users to enhance Industrial IoT sales performance across the UKI. You will also engage with Cisco's product management and industry solutions teams to shape strategies and achieve outstanding results.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing intricate technology sales requiring executive-level engagement for strategic UKI clients.
  • Strong proficiency in identifying, nurturing, and finalizing sales opportunities with both new and existing clientele.
  • Consistently achieved or surpassed sales targets.
  • A solution-oriented sales approach aimed at facilitating customer business success through technology.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and effectively communicate their value in sales discussions.
  • Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, including technical experts and industry leaders.
  • Experience in selling networking, wireless, security, cloud, and analytics solutions to operational technology stakeholders.
  • Proficient in utilizing opportunity qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC).
  • Cross-industry experience in engaging IT and OT stakeholders across sectors such as Manufacturing, Energy, and Transportation.
  • Skilled in providing precise sales forecasts, strategic planning, and conducting regular business assessments.
  • Experience in overlay sales roles, assisting account teams in building relationships with IT and OT stakeholders, with a focus on customer success.
  • Proven ability to sell through operational technology channel partners and system integrators.
  • Capable of conducting sales remotely or in-person, with a willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Industrial/OT with over 5 years of experience in selling industrial hardware and software solutions.
  • Direct sales or account management experience at Cisco or with a partner or competitor.
  • Strong understanding of the industrial networking and cybersecurity landscape.
