Global Supply Chain Director

Exaktera, a dynamic and innovative photonics company, is seeking a talented and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our supply chain strategy.
The PositionThe Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the group's supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Procurement and Sourcing: Work with purchasing teams to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Inventory Management: Develop and coordinate with purchasing and warehousing teams to execute inventory management strategies to balance supply and demand.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align supply chain activities with business objectives and customer needs.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and disruptions to the supply chain and develop contingency plans to minimize their impact.
- Performance Management and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators to measure the performance of the supply chain function and monitor and analyze them regularly.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in progressively responsible roles.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
