Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice at Jack and Jill Pre-School in Bristol.

About the Role:

As a Childcare Development Specialist, you will be responsible for motivating and stimulating children's learning and development, providing care and support to children, and organizing learning resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and inspire children to reach their full potential
  • Plan and schedule work to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Develop and maintain a stimulating and happy learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with the Childcare Lead and staff team to achieve high standards of care
  • Ensure the health and safety of children and staff are maintained at all times
  • Implement and review the curriculum within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Record written observations on children's learning and development

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Childcare Qualification (desired)
  • Enhanced CRB/DBS
  • Current Paediatric First Aid
  • Knowledge and experience of EYFS
  • GCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent

Working Hours:

  • 30 hours per week with varied shift patterns
