Job Title: Mechanical Shift Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems in a commercial building environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical systems, including air conditioning, chillers, and water treatment systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical plant equipment, including pumps and motors.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure seamless operation of mechanical systems.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in a commercial building environment.
  • Hold mechanical qualifications, such as NVQ or C&G.
  • DBS clearance required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a continental shift pattern, including evenings and weekends.

Salary: £24-25 per hour, paid via umbrella. Overtime available. Salary offered up to £49k.

Working Hours: Continental shift pattern, 07:00 am-19:00 pm / 19:00 pm-07:00 am.
