As a seasoned Senior Psychiatric Consultant, you will engage with individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries, those facing neurodegenerative disorders, and patients with intricate physical health challenges. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Mental Health Act, Clinical Policies, and Clinical Standards
  • Assess medical services through comprehensive audits
  • Support service users' reintegration into the community
  • Lead multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Guarantee effective Care Programme Approach
  • Contribute to the training and development of staff
  • Engage in Clinical Governance activities

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree with MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of psychiatric practices and mental health advancements
  • Prior experience in a consultant role
