Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant Wanted

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work within a mainstream primary school in the Sandwell area. The successful candidate will be working closely with the class teacher to support Reception pupils on a 1:1/1:2 basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a mainstream primary school setting
- Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Provide one-to-one support to pupils with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development
- Collaborate with the teaching team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support for pupils with SEN
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with pupils with SEN
- Suitable qualifications to work with young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to form good relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
