We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman UK. As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will contribute to the development and growth of our Systems Engineering capabilities within our UK Defence business.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the Systems Engineering process on our maritime programs, ensuring the delivery of complex products that meet customer requirements.
- Successfully lead and deliver key milestone design reviews, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, working closely with our customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
- Lead the integration of other engineering disciplines, ensuring that our products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Provide technical management of suppliers, ensuring that our suppliers meet the required standards of quality and reliability.
- Proven experience in Systems Engineering, with a strong understanding of Systems Engineering models and techniques.
- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject, such as mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.
- Exceptional people and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- External customer/supplier relationship management experience, with a strong understanding of the importance of building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Aptitude for people leadership and team management, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers to deliver complex products.
