Job Title: Principal Safety Engineer - Defence Systems Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Safety Engineer to join our team at TalentTrade Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our Systems Safety team, you will be responsible for delivering complex safety-critical systems and upholding defence standards across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct safety analyses including HAZOPs, FFA, FTA, and FMECA, adhering to safety processes and guidelines from Def Stan 00-056 and IEC61508.
* Generate safety requirements ensuring compliance with customer safety targets.
* Present compelling safety arguments to stakeholders, influencing key safety decisions.
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance our reputation through high-quality outputs.
* Support audits during internal and external design reviews and safety committee meetings.

Requirements:

* Proven track record in Systems Safety within the UK Defence industry.
* Relevant qualification (Degree, HND, or HNC) in Engineering or Safety Management, or equivalent experience.
