About the Role

Pertemps TM is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering complex drainage and highway infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Delivery: Design drainage systems, including SUDS, infrastructure for buildings, stormwater management, flood prevention, and sewage systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Highway Infrastructure: Design highway infrastructures, including road layouts, pavements, intersections, and related structures, applying working knowledge of S38 and S278.
  • Project Management: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards. Prepare and submit permit applications and liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals.
  • Leadership: Lead and oversee the design and construction of drainage and some highway projects. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Site Investigations: Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather necessary data for design and planning.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: BEng / MSc / MEng in Civil Engineering.
