In this capacity, you will be classified as 'Certified' under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority's Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This entails completing regulatory background checks prior to assuming your responsibilities, along with annual assessments to confirm your ongoing suitability for the role. Comprehensive training regarding the implications of holding a SMCR position will be provided upon your onboarding and annually thereafter.
Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses overseeing investment strategy for Aviva's Wealth sector in the UK, as well as providing leadership and guidance to the workplace and retail investment proposition teams to ensure the delivery of market-leading investment solutions to our clientele.
Additionally, you will:
Spearhead the design, development, and execution of workplace and retail investment propositions, incorporating competitive analysis and product positioning while ensuring a clear strategic vision and innovation. Oversee the ongoing governance of investment propositions, ensuring the market integrity of investment solutions. Identify emerging market opportunities and trends to drive innovation, future proposition development, and marketing strategies that align with customer needs and regulatory standards. Lead the team in enhancing market presence through collaboration with Employee Benefit Consultants, advisers, participation in industry events, and media engagement.Desired Skills and Experience:
Proven leadership experience with a strong record of delivering market-leading investment propositions. Extensive knowledge of institutional and retail investment propositions, with a solid understanding of the UK pensions and savings market landscape. Strong presence and credibility, capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders at all levels with confidence. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for external presentations. Customer-centric, motivated, and passionate, possessing strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities. Comprehensive understanding of investment markets, asset classes, fund types, asset management techniques, and styles, including a solid grasp of ESG principles.What We Offer:
