About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Community Rapid Response & Intermediate Care Team at Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing expert clinical support to patients in their own homes and facilitating timely discharges from hospital.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support staff in identifying and developing their knowledge and skills, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the community team to ensure high-quality service delivery, responding to the healthcare needs of the local population.
  • Develop and maintain a wide range of clinical expertise, ideally within the NHS, with experience of working in a community multidisciplinary team environment and managing healthcare assistants.
  • Contribute to the development of the team's knowledge and skills, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in Physiotherapy (MCSP).
  • State Registered Physiotherapist.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), including attendance at recent postgraduate learning events relevant to the clinical field of Intermediate Care.
  • Portfolio evidence of learning and professional development.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of professional practice and research.
  • Understanding of clinical governance and its implications for services, including quality and audit.
  • Ability to comprehend and work within the Trust's policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with difficult emotional and social circumstances.
