Position Overview
This role encompasses a commitment of 6 Programmed Activities (PAs) plus an additional PA, complemented by a 3% Category A availability supplement for on-call responsibilities. Candidates must possess MRCP or an equivalent qualification and must be registered on the Specialist Register with full GMC registration, along with Approved Clinician status and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act.
All interviews will be conducted remotely via video link utilizing Life Size technology.
Applicants are required to submit a separate application form for each position of interest.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver psychiatric care to individuals referred to the SWK Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).
- Provide medical expertise to the SWK CMHT.
- Facilitate effective communication among mental health services, acute care facilities, and other pertinent organizations.
- Undertake additional responsibilities during emergencies and unexpected situations.
