The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis, working three days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective data analysis and recording for our Farming Connect project. This is a fantastic opportunity for a data analysis professional with project coordination experience to contribute to the successful delivery of a significant project.

The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing detailed and accurate data analysis and reporting, directly impacting our ability to meet project goals.
  • Analysing beneficiary data, providing weekly and monthly statistics on project progress and outcomes.
  • Ensuring all data is accurately captured and reported.
  • Leading on BAS/BOSS reporting of activity, producing weekly reports.
  • Manipulating data linked to Accredited Training funding applications and all Lot 2 activity.
  • Preparing data and stats for monthly Contract Management meetings and Dashboards.
  • Completing data capture sheets for Welsh Government claims.
  • Supporting certification and related paperwork for the Farming Connect Animal Health and Welfare workstream.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working with Excel and interrogating data.
  • Experience with project coordination.
  • Experience of working with most relevant IT software packages.
  • Competency in the use of lookups and pivot tables in Excel, as well as working with formulas.
  • The ability to assist and represent the team with presenting data in meetings.
  • The ability to work well in a team and share knowledge.
  • Good attention to detail alongside technical proficiency, with the ability to solve problems quickly.
  • To be highly computer literate.
