This is a critical, onsite role within a busy legal environment where efficiency, reliability, and security are paramount. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to users across the business, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues within the firm.
  2. Lead and participate in IT projects, including software updates, hardware installations, and systems migrations.
  3. Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring smooth delivery of IT services and managing hardware/software purchases.
  4. Ensure that all IT processes and systems comply with relevant data protection regulations (such as GDPR) and legal sector requirements.
  5. Familiarity with legal-specific applications such as case management systems, document management solutions, and time recording software would be advantageous.
  6. Experience leading IT projects, from system upgrades to the deployment of new technologies.
  7. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with legal professionals, IT staff, and external providers.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
  2. Professional certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support roles, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
