About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support Team at Holderness Academy & Sixth Form College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one, small group, and classroom support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those with barriers to learning.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Assist with the promotion of excellent behavior and conduct, safeguarding, and student welfare.
  • Engage with the wider life of the school community and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • GCSE grade 5 (or equivalent) in both English and Maths.
  • Experience of working with young people and knowledge of SEND, safeguarding, and child protection.
  • Ability to establish good professional relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
