Optometrist Role at ASDA

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our dynamic team at ASDA Opticians. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive eye exams and treatments to patients
  • Conduct thorough eye health assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest eye care technologies and techniques
  • Contribute to the development of new patient services and shape the culture of the department

Requirements:

  • Full registration with the General Optical Council (GOC)
  • Registered performer with your NHS area team or health board
  • MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining ASDA)
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
