- Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, delivering excellent customer service and meeting service standards.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, credit review, and audit requirements, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Apply the principles of Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF) in all interactions, prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction.
- Take ownership of your learning and development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and sharing knowledge with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in underwriting within the mortgage industry, with a strong background in underwriting or completions.
- Excellent commercial and professional judgment, with the ability to make informed decisions and take calculated risks.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- CeMAP certification or a willingness to study and obtain certification.
