Senior Project Manager

Pepler Lee Events is seeking a skilled Event Manager to lead our international expansion delivery. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing event strategies, and overseeing event logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budgetary constraints.
- Develop comprehensive event strategies, including concept development, event timelines, and production plans.
- Manage a team of event planners and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and event service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and manage budgets to optimize resources without compromising on quality.
- Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including setup, registration, catering, audio-visual requirements, and more.
- Anticipate potential challenges and implement contingency plans to ensure a successful event.
- Work with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely billing and payment processing.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess event success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize insights from evaluations to enhance future events and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as an Agency Event Manager, with experience in conferences, exhibitions, and events for the corporate market.
- Strong organisational, multitasking, and time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of event planning best practices, trends, and industry delivery standards.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, think critically, and make quick decisions during event execution.
- A passion for creativity and innovation, consistently seeking new ideas to enhance event experiences.
