Join Our Team as an IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to become a vital part of our IT department. Finsbury Food Group, a prominent player in the specialty bakery sector, is committed to enhancing quality and efficiency while fostering enduring partnerships with major retailers and the foodservice industry.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering first and second line support through our helpdesk system. Collaborating closely with the Helpdesk Manager, you will ensure that all incidents are resolved in accordance with service level agreements, while also liaising with third-party support providers when necessary.

This dynamic position requires a candidate with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities. Prior hands-on experience with Office 365 is essential, along with familiarity in setting up and deploying Windows 10 systems. Additionally, proficiency in assembling laptops and desktops is expected.

This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements. Occasionally, you may need to visit various sites, so a willingness to travel is important.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with the helpdesk team to ensure all business systems are effectively supported and maintained.
  • Providing daily IT support to all group users.
  • Assisting with IT projects as directed by the Helpdesk Manager.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with Windows 10 setup and deployment.
  • Proficient in Office 365.
  • Working knowledge of Windows servers and Active Directory management.
  • Experience in IT Helpdesk administration.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based systems such as Azure and AWS.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
