Senior Performance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance Manager to join our team at SGN. As a key member of our Southern Operations Performance Team, you will play a critical role in driving business excellence and delivering strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery of high-quality results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize projects, and develop benefit realisation plans.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks and workstream structures to support business objectives.
- Oversee financial management across projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost estimation.
- Monitor and resolve issues, conflicts, and critical deliverables, and review escalated risks and dependencies.
- Track and communicate progress against plans, ensuring business requirements are met, and adapt to shifting priorities and optimise resource utilisation.
- Manage and coach team members, setting objectives and monitoring performance through regular reviews.
- Proven experience in project delivery and change management, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Experience in contract development and management, with a focus on portfolio delivery and governance.
- Proactive and dogmatic in identifying and escalating areas of under-performance and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills.
- Experience leading, motivating, and managing project and programme teams, including mentoring and line management responsibility of permanent staff.
