Working Hours:

Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week: 6.30am / 7am - 2.30/3pm, including two nights per week covering operational hours (3.30am), and one in four Saturdays covering operational hours (3.30am - 9.30am).

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily operations of our facility, ensuring the effective management of resources, personnel, and customer relations.

This role encompasses strategizing, executing, and sustaining processes aimed at boosting productivity and ensuring seamless operations while managing tenant relationships.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the daily functions of the wholesale market.
  • Formulate and enforce operational policies and procedures.
  • Guarantee adherence to industry regulations and company standards.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee a team of staff members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Encourage a positive workplace culture and foster teamwork.
  • Manage inventory levels to maintain adequate stock without excess.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Implement inventory management systems to reduce waste and loss.
  • Work closely with tenants and contractors.
  • Address customer inquiries and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Prepare and manage operational budgets.
  • Monitor financial performance and introduce cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure the market is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Experience Required:
Proven experience in managing a busy site with both soft and hard services.
Health and safety training is essential.
